HollywoodNews.com: Is Hilary Duff under consideration to star in the new “Spiderman” reboot, already starring Andrew Garfield as Spidey? A new interview with Duff’s new husband, hockey star Mike Comrie, seems to imply so.

In the interview, it is mentioned that in the couple’s Hollywood home, “a script marked ‘Spiderman’ sits on the table, with lines for a character simply called ‘girl’ highlighted in yellow.”

Possible rumors aside, Comrie spoke briefly on the origins of the couple’s relationship, saying, “I knew I was dating an actor when she started talking about a rink being called a venue and my jersey being an outfit.” Duff also admitted she called practices “rehearsals.”

Hilary Duff tied the knot with hockey player Mike Comrie at a beautiful sunset ceremony on Aug. 14, but not everything was so perfect earlier in the day: “I started my day with a chipped tooth!” Duff tells OK! Magazine. “My wedding planner snuck me out to the dentist! Thank goodness it was fixed within the hour.” And when it came to her vows, the bride went to the Web: “We didn’t write our vows word for word. I researched on the Internet for three days! I read (about) other people’s ceremonies, picking and choosing what I liked. We chose a few poems and a ring blessing. I really feel that it’s our own.”

USA TODAY’s Cindy Clark highlights more bits from the blissful bride:

-On preparations for the big day: “I planned every detail,” says Duff of the celebration, which took place outdoors under a muslin tent nestled among the trees. “Mindy (Weiss) is a miracle worker because we didn’t have a lot of time to plan, and she just came in and made it magical — my dream wedding come true.”

-Her special requests for the menu: “Junk food! Totally, because I’ve been so good. I said to my sister (Haylie), ‘After the wedding is over, I’m going to eat 16,000 calories!’ The food was one of the most exciting parts (of planning). The catering company cooked everything for us so we could taste everything they were going to serve. Mike and I have a favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi (in Santa Monica, Calif.), so they modeled this delicious truffled corn ravioli from there. We had pigs in a blanket; these really cute heart-shaped, puffed, fried things; sliders with Wagyu beef and Gruyère cheese; pepper-crusted rib-eye steak; and miso-glazed black cod. We did a jalapeño pineapple martini that my mom actually created. And the dessert station had warm, molten chocolate cake and profiterole ice cream sandwiches with hot fudge dipping sauce. I’m drooling just thinking about it!”

-Her “old, new, borrowed, blue“: “I wore blue underwear and borrowed all of the jewelry (from Van Cleef & Arpels), and the something old was my great-grandmother’s cameo, which I wore on the inside of my dress. The dress itself was new.”

-How she met Comrie: “Through a mutual friend. Mike went on a trip to Idaho to stay at a friend’s house, and my sister and I were invited as well. Mike and I ended up talking and hanging out the entire weekend. And we didn’t spend a day apart after that. It’s been smooth sailing ever since.”

-The first person she broke the engagement news to: “Of course my mother! Mike had actually called her about 15 minutes before he (proposed), so she was just sitting there waiting by her phone. There were a lot of screams.”

A big massive congratulations to Hilary and Mike, who got married yesterday! The couple got married in Santa Barbara, California, at sunset with 100 of there close family and friends.

Hilary was escorted down the aisle by her mother Susan Duff, who was dressed in Badgley Mischka.

Sister Haylie Duff acted as maid of honor with four additional bridesmaids.

NB: Out of respect for Hilary and Mike, I will not be posting any more of the wedding photos.

In Touch says Duff and her hockey-player fiancé Mike Comrie will wed this weekend at the beautiful San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif. Hilary, 22, has been getting ready for her big day by working out six days a week, as well as taking dance lessons with Mike, 29, the mag says.

E! News reported last week that Duff, who got engaged in February, will walk down the aisle this month, but says it won’t be on Saturday. However, the August nuptials are “imminent,” a source tells E!, and will be a “quiet affair” orchestrated by wedding planner to the stars Mindy Weiss (former clients include Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson and Adam Sandler). E! also says Hilary and Mike have been taking dance lessons.

E! News has confirmed that Hilary Duff will walk down the aisle with her hockey-playing fiancé Mike Comrie this month—but not on the 14th as some outlets have reported.

The August nuptials are “imminent,” according to a source, who describes the event as a “quiet affair” being orchestrated by wedding planner to the stars Mindy Weiss (former clients include Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson and Adam Sandler).

So how has the couple been prepping for their big day?

The Disney starlet and her man, who plays for the Edmonton Oilers, have been taking private lessons with instructor Lisa Goodman to prep for their first dance.

And Hil’s been hard at work on her buff bride routine with the help of celeb trainer Harley Pasternak, (who also works with Jessica Simpson), in addition to taking Pilates classes in Studio City.

Hilary and Mike got engaged in February during in a trip to Hawaii, when he popped the question with a $1 million dollar engagement ring—making us think that this upcoming “quiet affair” won’t necessarily translate to “inexpensive.”

“Up early for a workout, NYC’s amazing food killed me!” Haylie tweeted. “Gettin’ back baby. Gettin’ back.”

Haylie just returned from the Big Apple, where she hit the stage every night for her off-Broadway show Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

Miley Cyrus recently compared her life to the 22-year-old actress during a radio interview with Q100 Atlanta’s The Bert Show.

“If you say ‘Miley Cyrus,’ there’s going to be some type of bad press or controversy that comes with it,” Miley said. “It’s just part of where I am in my life right now….It’s like when Hilary Duff started growing up off the Disney channel, everyone thought she was anorexic…just because when she goes out she doesn’t look like a 12-year-old anymore. It’s the same thing.

Hilary Duff has admitted that her fiancé grinds his teeth so badly that the couple have to sleep in separate rooms.

The actress-singer, who is engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie, has reportedly said that she is so frustrated with the noises which come from his side of the bed that she has forced him to get medical help.

A source told the National Enquirer: “It makes the most awful, nails-on-chalkboard noise. Mike has agreed to see his doctor about getting a mouthguard so Hilary can rest easy.”

Duff’s sister Haylie recently revealed that she is “really relaxed” about her wedding.
